Maroon 5 is one of modern pop music’s most recognized touring bands. Live Nation brought in 310 Interactive to help translate that reach into a stronger digital experience for the band’s 2008–2009 U.S. and world-tour campaigns.
The engagement included redesigned components for maroon5.com and the touring site itwontbesoonbeforelong.com, supported by content, SEO, merchandise, tour creative, and interactive fan experiences.
Live Nation needed a scalable platform that could carry Maroon 5’s identity across tour promotion, ticket visibility, merchandise, media, and fan engagement, without fragmenting the experience.
The campaign also needed stronger discoverability and memorable participation mechanics capable of keeping fans involved between announcements, tour dates, and live shows.
310 Interactive redesigned key components across maroon5.com and itwontbesoonbeforelong.com, creating a more immersive tour-focused experience with responsive navigation, multimedia, campaign content, ticket pathways, and merchandise integration.
We also developed promotional content, tour-poster creative, search optimization, and a U.S. fan contest inviting people to upload their photos to fill a giant “M”, with VIP tickets awarded to the winning participant.
Tour announcements, artist updates, multimedia storytelling, SEO, social participation, and branded creative worked as one coordinated system rather than isolated campaign moments.
The fan-generated “M” gave the audience an active role in the campaign, turning individual photo submissions into a collective visual and a compelling reason to return, share, and participate.
The redesigned web experiences strengthened engagement around the Maroon 5 tour while giving fans clearer access to content, tickets, merchandise, and campaign moments.
The integrated program generated 12,000 contest submissions, lifted organic-search rankings and online content engagement, and reduced ticket-sale acquisition costs.
